Personal Care / Home Health Aide
Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide services are delivered under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed therapist. Our aides have experience and training in providing care in the home.
Any duties the home health performs will be planned by you and the nurse and added to your care plan. Services your home health aide may provide include:
- Light housekeeping/chores
- Bathing and showering
- Dressing and grooming
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Assisting with feeding
- Assisting with ambulation
- Assisting with range of motion (ROM) exercise (requires a doctor’s order)
- Assisting with catheter care under nursing instruction
- Assisting with non-sterile dressing changes
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment (client immediate area)
- Medication reminder
- Companion
Any additional duties to be performed by the home health aide will be formulated by you and the nurse and added to the aide’s plan of care on an individual basis.
